Tonight, she’s released her new song “Yes, And?,” which marks her first solo single since 2020. The song was written and produced by Grande, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh. Grande recently revealed in an Instagram story that, while “Yes, And?” isn’t the name of her forthcoming album, the single’s artwork will serve as one of her forthcoming album’s cover variants.
Grande began singing and acting when she was young. In 2008 she won a role in the Broadway play 13, and she soon began appearing in bit parts on television shows.
Her big break came in 2010 when she landed a role on the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She played Cat Valentine, a teenager attending a performing arts school. After the sitcom was canceled in 2013, she starred in the spin-off show Sam & Cat (2013–14).
It’s been more than three years since Ariana Grande last released a solo music video, and the drought is finally coming to an end. In an Instagram post Thursday (Jan. 11), Grande teased the imminent music video for her forthcoming comeback single, “Yes, And?” — and she’s addressing some of the viral headlines that have hounded her over the past few years.
